Jess & Nicola's Backyard Wedding (with a little surprise!)
Just going to start this blog by swooning over Jess & Nicola (AND their families!) They are some of the sweetest, most welcoming people. Wedding definitely hit a little different when you feel like a guest.
These two did not want to wait any longer to tie the knot.
So when they switched their venue wedding to a small intimate backyard wedding in the city, I was thrilled to still have the opportunity to be one of the people present. It was a beyond beautiful evening, for more reasons than one. Jess & Nicola had a little surprise for their guests too - KEEP SCROLLING TO FIND OUT!!
BUT first we need to give the Mother of the Groom and HUGE shoutout. The sentimental and beautiful details that went into this set up is BEYOND!! And ya’ll…THIS IS NOT WHAT I HAD IN MIND when I was told backyard wedding! Gina, YOU’RE THE REAL MVP!!
This tradition was amazing to see! Guests wrap the Newlyweds in colourful streamers so that they become entangled. This represents love, good wishes and luck for the future.
And they had a beautiful song sung to them in Italian!
& for (in my opinion) the BEST part of the evening!
